Sakina Ali, originally from Hyderabad, India, received her Pharmacy degree in 1996 from University of Houston and subsequently worked at The Methodist Hospital in The Texas Medical Center. Over the years, she has worked with various social organizations in Houston as well as in Hyderabad, particularly for the education of children in underprivileged areas and for teacher training. She currently serves on the board of Save A Mother and IMAGH.
