Endowment Fund
The Eternal Gandhi Museum Houston Endowment Fund has been established to ensure the long-term financial stability and enduring mission of the museum for generations to come. An endowment gift is a lasting investment in the preservation of Mahatma Gandhi’s life, legacy, and timeless values of truth, nonviolence, peace, love, and service.
Purpose of the Endowment Fund
The Endowment Fund provides permanent financial support that allows the museum to sustain educational programs for students and educators; preserve and maintain exhibitions and interpretive experiences; support community programs, lectures, and youth engagement; maintain the museum facility and operations; and plan responsibly for the future, independent of annual fundraising fluctuations.
Why an Endowment Matters
While annual donations support immediate needs, an endowment creates long-term financial stability, protects the museum’s independence and continuity, ensures programs and exhibits remain accessible to future generations, and honors a donor’s commitment to enduring values.
