The Building Peace Capital Campaign was launched on September 23, 2019, marked by the virtual groundbreaking with guest of honor Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India. The campaign is off to a strong start with a total $7.3 million raised toward the building, design, and construction budget. Only 5.7 million needs to be raised, which includes a $3 million endowment fund.
